What time does the festival start and finish?
The gathering runs from 11am Friday 26th to 2pm Monday 29th July 2024. 

Will there be a cash machine?
There wont be a cash machine, we can arrange cash back at the bar. We accept all card payments. Please bring enough cash with you. 

Can I bring my dog?
Yes, dogs are allowed on site, but they must be on a lead at all times. Please ensure to clean up after your dog and leave no trace. If your dog poses a risk to other humans or dogs, we kindly ask that you do not bring them, as we prioritise safety, and your dog is your responsibility. Additionally, please refrain from allowing dogs near the speakers. Thank you for your understanding.

Is there somewhere I can park?
Car parking is available on-site to people who have bought a Car Park Pass. Do NOT turn up to the site without a Car Park Pass. Additionally, please consider using the available coaches or carpooling, as space on-site is limited, and cars without a valid pass will be turned away. The campsite is a 2-minute walk to the car park. Accreditation (wristbands) will be located at the entrance car park. You can buy a car ticket from here https://ra.co/events/1848111

Can I bring or buy alcohol?

We are particularly relying on bar sales this year to keep us afloat, so please do not bring excessive amounts of alcohol and support our event by buying our delicious ice cold beverages at the bar. There will be the usual limit you can bring through the gate of 1 crate of beer/cider OR 1 box of wine OR 1 bottle of spirit but if you can afford it, bring less and help us out. No underage drinking is allowed and you may be asked for ID. For safety, no glass is allowed on site.

Is water available on site?
There are water points on-site where you can fill a bottle. We will not be selling water in single-use plastic containers!

Is the festival family friendly?
Yes! We pride ourselves on being a safe, fun and educational space for kids.

Will there be showers and washing facilities?
There are a limited number of showers in the campsite.

I’ve spotted an error on your website, what should I do

Are day passes available?
There are no day tickets, we have affordable 3 day weekend camping ticket starting from £89+BF

Does my child need their own ticket?
Children age 2 to 14 are £25, but must be accompanied by an adult. Children age 15 to 17 need a youth ticket and must be accompanied by an adult. Babies between 0 to 2 are free.

Can I buy tickets over the phone?
No, sorry. But tickets are super easy to buy online at https://ra.co/events/1848111

Do you charge a booking fee?
Yes, Resident Advisor, our ticket platform, charges 8.25%+Vat which goes directly to them.

Can I cancel or change my online ticket order?
No, if you’re no longer able to attend you need to sell the ticket or give it to another person. 

Do I need ID to get my wristband on the gate?
Yes, to protect ourselves and ticket buyers from ticket touting and scams you will need ID in the name of the ticket buyer at the gate. You will be signed out and in each time you leave the festival. 

Can I pay at the gate?
In short, YES, but only if tickets are still available. We highly recommend buying online in advance here https://ra.co/events/1848111 in order to avoid disappointment!

Does the ticket price include camping?
Yes, for all 3 nights.

Is there a family camping area?
Yes, there will be a family camping area, but the whole campsite will be family friendly. 

Can I bring my campervan / caravan / trailer tent?
Yes, but this isn’t included in the regular ticket, you will need to buy an additional campervan ticket in advance from https://ra.co/events/1848111 Please be quick, as only 35 are available. 

Can I bring my camping stove and other cooking facilities?
Yes, as long as all cooking is done safely in open air and not in enclosed spaces such as tents as this poses a carbon monoxide poisoning and fire risk. No fires are allowed on the campsite. Please be conscious that Home of the Drum is 100% vegan and we encourage people not to bring or cook animal products.

Are campfires allowed?
Unfortunately not, but we do organise a big communal fire.

Home of the Drum is inclusive to everyone and anyone. We’ve taken the following measures and compiled information below so that festival goers with additional access needs are well cared for. 

We want everyone to have as much fun as possible at our festival.If you have a particular requirement, let us know! Please get in contact via info@homeofthedrum.com and we’ll do our best to make the necessary changes so that you can attend.

Do you have Personal Assistant tickets?
Personal Assistant Tickets are free for attendees that require a personal assistant. To request yours please send an email to info@homeofthedrum.com and our team will be in touch. Deadline is 1st July 2024.

Is there accessible parking?
Home of the Drum parking is all accessible. However, let our stewards know on arrival and you’ll be guided to the the most accessible spot available. 

Whats is the sites accessibility?
The site terrain is very flat, consisting mostly of grassy fields and some pathways. The Workhouse site haven’t had any issues, but please consider that the ground conditions may deteriorate in poor weather conditions.

All areas of the festival are accessible to wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. Routes avoiding steps will be clearly marked and will not increase the distance travelled.

Where is Home of the Drum?

Home of the Drum is set in one of Wales’ best music venues, The Workhouse, located in a beautiful Grade II Listed Building. Its central location in the country makes it easily accessible from most parts of England and Wales.

Please be respectful of the local residents and avoid passing through Llanfyllin when you arrive at the site.

Coach Travel

There is a limited number of car park and campervan spots, so please carpool. DO NOT turn up without a campervan or without a car park ticket; you will be turned away.
