Announcement
Sorry to say, Home of the Drum event will not be taking place in 2025. This decision is not solely based on ticket sales, although they have been low. I know I had set a goal of selling an additional 200 tickets by 15th June, which was going well and could be reached. It’s the time pressure and the stress of putting on another event that could possibly lose money. That’s not fair to me my family or the crew. So this decision is made of an accumulation of things. I am also feeling very burned out.
Over the past 17 years, I have put time, love and soul into the music industry, curating amazing events with incredible people, from the original Audio Farmers to the massive One Tribe Festival. The essence of hosting a festival for me was to create a space where beautiful souls could come together to dance, celebrate life, laugh, talk, share good and bad experiences, help one another, form new friendships, discover love, and build a collective tribe.
Reflecting on all the events I’ve been a part of over the last 17 years brings a massive smile to my face, and I feel incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together. We are a huge family.
As for the future of Home of the Drum, I’m uncertain. We might possibly organise smaller events, but for now I need to decompress and enjoy life.
Thank you to everyone who’s been involved, build crew, live crew managers, and all the directors, volunteers and ticket buyers and everyone else.
(Everyone who bought a ticket will be refunded via Resident Advisor)
Love you all, and see you on the dancefloor
